I like to call this the last point of protection or defence before disease enters the physical body. But it is even more than that, as I discovered but a moment ago when I finished writing this blog. It is so Divinely more than just the last line of defence for our physical bodies!
But, it is so much more than that as I wrote in yesterday’s blog on the five energy bodies. It is the blue print that contains all of the information and energies that form every aspect of the human body, and if this layer becomes damaged or blocked then it is common sense to believe that sooner than later, we’re going to start getting aches and pains.
It is the blueprint for all of our physical senses, organs, tissues; everything that makes you and I who we are as physical beings.
This will imprint our mind and our emotions, as they are part of who we are so if those nasty negative things from the external world make it this far, and we welcome them with open arms inviting them in, they will take up residence. You see, the subconscious mind does not filter what we give it permission to house.
Our permissions aren’t permissions per se, but they are when we accept the thoughts, ideas and manners of anything external to the body. Their entry is noticed by us in the conscious mind. Hang onto something long enough and it will take up home, and it will grow roots and become a permanent part of our makeup.
Our subconscious mind doesn’t apply filters and decide on its own who it will allow to dig in and root within it. It accepts whatever we feed it, without discrimination. We feed this to the subconscious mind because in the moment or moments (could be days, weeks, years or even generations) we believe this to be a truth.
I just love the name of this layer. It reminds me of heaven and angels and all good things. When I hear or read the word ether, I immediately visualize a soft hazy mist that hovers all around the fields of mother nature or her mountains and seashores. I think about my own walks along the shores of Cape Breton, in the early morning mist.
When people talk about the fog in Cape Breton, unknowingly as a child and even to this very moment I have called it my Cape Breton Mist instead of the word fog. Funny, isn’t it. My subconscious, since I was a tiny child, was keeping this word and its energies somewhat alive in my mind, at the conscious level, without my fully knowing the depth of what it would one day mean to me.
Etheric is Heavenly
I believe this very moment that this etheric energy body is the mists of the heavens that have always surrounded us, protecting us and keeping us whole and wholly healthy and, I suppose, holy unto Creator. This etheric energy body is the physical (as far as we can begin to see or understand it) aspect, the Source within which we are to venture to find everything we need to fine tune and help our physical body heal itself.
Could this etheric body that encompasses each of us, be that curtain that is referred to by Isaiah? Is this the tent within which we all dwell while here upon the earth:
- Isaiah 40:22 “It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:
or, perhaps as well the light that is referenced in this verse of one of the Psalms:
- Psalm 104:2 “Who coverest thyself with light as with a garment: who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain:”
I think of what happened as Yeshua’ died on the cross; the curtain in the temple was torn in two. The curtain divided the temple so that only the High Priest could enter in, as on the other side was the Holy of Holies. Yeshua’s death was symbolic of the removal of this curtain that separated and did not allow the people to enter. Veil, curtain, perhaps mist – synonymous of the same thing.
- Matthew 27: “And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice and yielded up his spirit.”
- Matthew 27:51 “And behold, the curtain of the temple was torn in two, from top to bottom. And the earth shook, and the rocks were split.”
Is this etheric energy (of protection and source of the All that is Good and Holy) that we are now allowed to enter within, when once only the High Priest was allowed. I believe it could very well be. But, I also believe that we must consciously make that decision and enter within to seek, to find and to know. For as James tells us, just because we ask or seek doesn’t mean we will find or get. Our motives are of key importance:
- James 4:2 “Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.”
- James 4:3 “Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.”
If we can possibly imagine the awesome truth that we are cocooned in a protective veil, curtain, mist and/or light straight from the Heart of Creator — what on earth could ever make us think that we were vulnerable or susceptible to anything that He who Created us has not provided for within this amazing veil, mist, curtain and/or light that encases us individually in such a protective cocoon?
