During meditation and prayer time this morning I was thinking about two words that are made up if the same three letters: o, n and w. The words that I was thinking about were own and now.
Each letter of the alphabet has a number. Keep in mind that different languages and even different civilizations have number values for their alphabets that may be different. For example when we do secular calculations for birthdays or determining the energy the energy of a day or date we add the numbers for each letter together and add any two digit number to make it singular, with few exceptions: 11, 22, 33, etc.
Numerology of Own and Now: 88
The three letters add up to number 88; the double energies of the number eight.
People who are 8s will have positive qualities such as: they are authoritative, business-minded leaders. They value control and tend to be powerful, but are also balanced, materially detached, successful and realistic. They end up in management positions, are efficient, capable, street-smart and good judges of character.
Conversely they are excessive in the following negative qualities: they can be cruel, insensitive, violent, bullish or greedy. At their worst, 8s can become intolerant religious zealots.
So, even though these two words have the same energies, as with each person there is a chance to do good or bad. We once again find ourselves with the gift of choice when we own the now.
Own and Now: Hebrew Words & Meanings
Own is number 249 in Strong’s Hebrew; the word ezrach meaning “native born”. It means a “spontaneous growth from home” and “born in the land.”
It comes from number 2224 which is a primary root word meaning “to irridate” or “shoot forth beams, to rise (as the sun), arise or rise up.”
Now is Hebrew number 6258 being the word attah which means “at this time, now.”
It is also the Hebrew number 6288, the word porah, meaning “foliage, branches, including the limbs.”
6288 comes from 6286, a primary root word paw-ar-a, meaning “to gleam, i.e. cause to embellish, to explain (make clear) oneself.”
Food for Thought
So, delving deeper beyond our simple English understanding and word meaning, you and I can have a field day in interpreting these words and the power and authority we can embrace when we “Own the Now!”
Think about how Scripture tells us Yeshua’s words about his being the vine and we are the branches and the relate that to us being in the “Now” and the definition of that word!
Then think about how we have been created from the earth, that we are Spiritual beings clothed in flesh and that relate that to the word “Own” and its meaning of spontaneous growth from the land, or shooting forth like a beam!
In these two words and our living what they say, owning now, our entire life is captured. Two simple words of the same three letters that equate to double authority in their 88 energies.
A Last Word
And in conclusion, there is a third word. When we own now, we have won!
